I'm glad to read more of your scholarly review of Hound this month! I thought you were saving it for later since you said you would dedicate this month to Sword & Planet.
How many parts are left in your scholarly review of Hound? Do you plan to treat the death of Aífe's only son and the death of Cú Chulainn in separate parts?
Most of this month was dedicated to S&P but due to some circumstances outside of my control, and general timing, I wasn't able to come up with ideas for a particular article in theme for this past week.
There will be exactly two left, and your guess is correct as those chapters will each be separate so I can invest more time into each of them.
Somethign that always bugged me...why didn't he hit it? She was hot, shared his interests, they were both single(ish). All he had to do was bend her feathered ass over and then she'd stop haunting him
In the context of TBC, part of why the Connacht army was able to get so far into Ulster was because Cuchulainn was distracted by sleeping with another woman. Although he has had multiple affairs while married, he might have rejected the Morrigan in part because he blamed himself for Connacht getting past the borders; he did not want to repeat the situation where they could advance further while he was laying with the Morrigan.
I especially like your summation in which Cu Cullen wants only peace— not war, ever again. If only that could be the way of our world now!m

All this because a husband and wife were arguing about who's richer after sex
