  • “Balefire Beneath the Waves.” In Die By the Sword Volume II. DMR Books, 2024 (link): Eachann MacLeod and Connor Ua Sreng pledge their service to a gruff sailor who has been travelling the world with his daughter, hunting a mysterious sea monster whose existence has haunted him since his youth. The lads and the small crew of the mad sailor’s ship soon find more than they bargained for in the stormy grey seas north of Scotland.

  • “The Abartachs’ Hostage.” In Die By the Sword Volume 1. DMR Books, 2023 (link): Eachann MacLeod and Connor Ua Sreng are employed by a faerie chieftain to rescue his daughter from the clutches of a cruel vampiric dwarf. They are joined by three beautiful maidens who lend their skill in magic to the lads’ essay against the forces of darkness.

  • “The Vengeance of the Silvern Hand.” In Futures That Never Were. Broadswords and Blasters, 2023 (link): A sword & planet tale featuring space vikings, cyborg elves, and a young warrior’s quest for revenge.

  • “The Tomb of Tigernmas.” In Samhain Sorceries. DMR Books, 2022 (link): The King of Ulster’s feast on Samhain Eve is set upon by cursed spirits summoned by the vengeful chieftain Mad Lubras. However, he did not anticipate the young warriors Eachann MacLeod and Connor Ua Sreng to be in attendance…

  • “Of the Green Knight’s Struggle Against the Black Goat.” In Shadows Over Avalon volume 1. 18th Wall Productions, 2022 (link): Bertilak the Green Knight joins forces with Sir Gawain to rescue his wife from a cult dedicated to the outer goddess known as Shub-Niggurath in this crossover of Howard Phillips Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos and Arthurian legend.

  • “Bölvetr.” In Monsters & Mayhem. Eerie River Publishing, 2022 (link): Alone in the wilderness of the New World, freezing, and running for her life, the Norsewoman Torhild must escape the pursuit of a monster as cold and merciless as the winter itself.

  • “Fort of the Ravens.” In Whetstone: Amateur Magazine of Pulp Sword and Sorcery Issue 3, 2021 (link): Tasked to secure an old Roman fortress, Eachann MacLeod and Connor Ua Sreng encounter a bloodthirsty assassin in the midst of their duty. Deadlier still is a dark secret hidden in the chambers beneath the fortress.

  • “The Pole-House.” In Broadswords and Blasters Issue 9, 2019 (link): In their debut adventure, the young warriors Eachann MacLeod and Connor Ua Sreng are challenged to spend the night in a cursed house in a shunned village in the Scottish Highlands. What they experience in the night puts their collective sanity and friendship to the test.

  • “The Smoke in the Ice.” In City in the Ice. Hiraeth Publishing, 2018 (link): Investigating the disappearance of HMS Edward II in the Antarctic, Captain Gregor Osbert and his crew discover only death, smoke, and a young stowaway on the derelict. Against better judgement, Osbert delves into a mystery of cosmic proportions that dissolves everything he believed he knew about the very universe.
