You’ve brought so much life to the Arthurian era and its colorful cast of characters. Bravo!

Very good Christmas/ New Year’s read. It must have been quite scary for Jack to not know exactly what was happening to him. Hope he does have a huge party next year!

Really enjoyed this story. Strong reminders of George MacDonald's 'Phantastes' and 'At the Back of the North Wind' (two favourites of mine) as well as the Dickens and Arthurian tales mentioned in the forward. Thanks for the read!

Cheers! And the same to you. Stories like this -- of lore and joy now largely forgotten -- are a great uplift for these times of birth and beginnings.

Loved it. It set the ideal Christmas tone and feel of an Arthurian tale. I enjoyed experiencing the battle of an unknown minor knight of Arthur’s court. The combat encounter was thrilling and satisfying. Anything can happen in the Welsh countryside.
