Since this year’s Christmas happens to fall on my regular posting schedule, I’ll be keeping this post short. I wanted to take some time to wish all my readers—from those who have been subscribed since Senchas Claideb launched last August to those who have only now joined the hunt for lore—a warm, hearty Nollaig Chridheil (Merry Christmas)!
2024 has been an eventful year personally and with Senchas Claideb; at the end of this January, I reached my first 100 subscriber milestone on Substack, in no small part thanks to
and welcoming me into the Fantasystack community after noticing my Sword & Sorcery posts. I reached 200 almost halfway through the year and am about 50 shy of 300. Although this hasn’t been staggering or viral growth, it’s still a good foundation for the sort of stories I want to tell and lore I want to share. This full year of posting has really shown me what sorts of things my audience enjoys and what I should aim to write more of going into 2025. For now, I’ll leave everyone with a very sincere mòran taing (many thanks) for following, whether you joined when I started, came along a few months ago, or just stumbled across my Substack a few days ago. I am happy to have brought stories to you all this year and hope to write many more next year!
Thanks for reading this week’s post! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year!
